Encounter is Glenabbey Youth’s main space for young people to grow in faith, build friendships, and discover more of who God is — together. We meet weekly to open the Bible, pray, chat, and have fun.

It’s for anyone in Year 8 to Upper Sixth, and while we often gather as one big group, we also split into cell groups based on age and gender to go a bit deeper.

Sometimes we’re all together at Glenabbey, other times we’re hanging out in homes with our leaders or parents. And every so often, it’s time for a Cell Social — think takeaway and games, bowling, a Nando’s run, or ice cream at Loughshore!
