Throughout November and December 2024, our young people at Encounter will be studying the New Testament letter of James.

As leaders and young people, we're reading through the letter over and over in preparation for the series, but I have also recommended James For You by Sam Allberry for additional insight. The God’s Word For You series provides clear, verse-by-verse guides that I often use for Bible study and find extremely helpful.

Parents, you might want to read James For You to help discuss the letter with your young person as they explore what it teaches at Encounter, or even pick them up a copy of their own!

Ephesians For You by Richard Coekin might be another title from the God’s Word For You series that you might be interested in as we go through that particular letter on Sunday mornings and with your Home Group.
